Packaging Design and Engineering
The evolution of our Packaging Design and Engineering Department came directly from our clients who wanted to be able to view an accurate version of their gift box or package before having to commit to the investment required for a production run.
Our clients indicated that they wanted a higher level of confidence and visual confirmation of their finished packaging design direction with the option to make alterations prior to final signoff and production.
In 2008 our Spectrum Packaging Engineering Department commenced and has evolved with ten years experience and continued technology development. Our approach is often compared to an architect’s build process for a house or construction project. During the packaging engineering and development process we often collaborate with our clients Graphic Designers providing panels, outlines or templates of the packages for print and graphic decoration. Clients can also utilise our art studio team (with Graphic Design capabilities) who customize print ready files for our cost effective manufacturing base in China.
Production
Spectrum Packaging originally started in Australia in 2001 as a Timber Packaging specialist suppling timber wine boxes and various other beverage packaging to the Australian Wine Industry. Since that time we have evolved and expanded our engineering production expertise and providing wider range of cost effective packaging from our production base in China.
After several years of research and developing our various factory Joint Ventures, Partnerships, building long-term relationships in 2010 we put in place our International production and Premium Packaging business approach with our own offices and management personnel in China.

We have managed to combine the high quality standards and levels of integrity that our western world customers expect with the cost effective volume production techniques that production in China offers.
Not an easy task, as anyone who has production facilities and worked in China will attest. However, our drive and persistence has paid off with our continuous improvement philosophy, training programs and the introduction of our own rigorous quality assurance processes, has enabled us to produce and achieve a reputation for high quality packaging that is consistent from one production to the next.
Today we achieve great quality packaging from the joint efforts of our talented people combining our Packaging Design & Engineering teams in Australia and experienced Production teams in China.

Throughout the journey, the team at Spectrum Packaging have developed a network of Global forwarding partners, who coordinate, import and arrange delivery either by sea or by air. This network assists with international delivery direct from the factory floor in China allowing us to ship packaging to just about any port in the world for our clients.
